Kohlert Saxophone
The Kohlert Sax has some interesting history. First off, Kohlert is not to be confused with Kohler - these are two completely different companies. The first Kohlert Saxophone was produced in around 1901. The original Kohlert Sax was made in Germany. Later on - between 1910-1916 - Kohlert did some stencil work on Saxopohones for the H.N. White (King) company. By 1938, Kohlert became the largest German maker of Saxophones. Kohlert stopped production of Saxophones in the 1970's. There is a good 75 years of history and some of these are very well made saxophones with an excellent sound and tonal quality.Place your bid on a Vintage Kohlert Saxophone
