Charlie Parker seemed to be born with a sax in his hand and be-bop music ingrained in his mind. It's mind-boggling, how Parker at such a young age could compose and solo through lightening fast chord changes on his sax. These are some of the earlier and later Charlie Parker jazz recordings. Charlie Parker Performs with Dizzy Gillespie

These are two of my heroes: You can barely keep up with the sounds. Charlie Parker was an amazing genius Saxophone player if there ever was one. This is Dizzy and Charlie Parker playing, Hot House. The solo is a composition all of itself. Not sure how old this video is, but it's gotta be a ways back - it's before Dizzy played with the bent horn in the air. Parker sounds amazing . Probably around 1950 - 52.
